What We Do
Time Banks UK helps individuals, organisations and communities to set up and run their own time banks and provides support through:
- A time banking handbook, information pack, newsletter and website on all aspects of time banking.
- Training on time banking and how to use the TimeKeeper software
- Advice and support to individuals and groups who want to set up a time bank
- Regional mentors
- Information-sharing email groups
- Membership discount packages for time banks and participants
- Development of partnerships within the voluntary, statutory and corporate sector to extend time banking practice
- Promotion of best practice and quality standards including health & safety guidelines
- Awareness raising of time banking through press and publicity
- Campaigning at policy level on issues that affect time banks, such as implications for welfare benefits entitlement
