All Time Banks should take out insurance on their staff and participants.

As a very minimum we recommend public and employee liability cover, but is best to also take out some group accident cover.

Even if you insurance policy does not require it we recommend that everyone working with children is police checked.

Zurich Municipal is one company which provides insurance for time banks.

Quotes will change but a guideline is that the premium per annum will be about �270 with an additional charge per participant of �7.50 payable at the renewal. So for a time bank with 75 participants the payment at the beginning of the 1st year is �270 and the 2nd year �562 (75x�7.50)
