Getting Started

Starting a time bank is a big step but youre not the first or last to face this challenge. Take advantage of the wealth of experience in the Time Banks UK network:

- firstly work though the self assessment questionnaire to decide how a time bank can help meet your need

- take a look at our 10 steps to starting up a time bank.

Other practical help in this section ranges from funding ideas to the time brokers job description. These resources are intended for you to use and adapt free of charge: we just ask that you accredit Time Banks UK whenever and wherever you use them.

You can also access the TimeKeeper software, specifically designed to manage the exchange of hours through your time bank.

Dont forget to visit our resources page for further useful resources including information on training and publications.
