Time Banking in Action the power of social networks
Against a backdrop of continuing social isolation, the breakdown of the extended family and the fear of crime how do todays communities survive and thrive? This important conference offers a unique opportunity to find out about how time banking works throughout the UK and to compare and contrast the ways in which this amazing tool helps rebuild social networks and revitalise communities.
The fourth time banking conference is just weeks away and is for everyone working with communities. Places are limited so it is best to BOOK NOW!
Time credits act as community loyalty points for the time, care and energy people put into helping each other out locally. There are more than 80 time banks nationwide all enabling two way exchanges of skills using the strength of give and take. Everyone participating becomes both a giver and receiver of time and everyones time is valued equally so one hour always equals one time credit. Simple - but effective.
No other event offers you this opportunity to learn more about time banking hear practical case studies and challenge your thinking on volunteering.
